Pee Wee Soccer

Description: The Amherst Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) Pee Wee program is open to children ages 3–5 residing in or attending school in Amherst, Ohio. This program is designed as an introduction to soccer, focusing on fun, basic skill development, and building confidence in a relaxed, non-competitive environment.

Season Structure: Registration includes the fall season and runs on Saturday mornings from August to September. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and is led by volunteer coaches and our Pee Wee Program Director.

Equipment: Each child receives a ball and a program t-shirt at the first session. Shin guards and cleats are optional but encouraged. Please bring a water bottle to every session.

Location: All Pee Wee sessions are held locally at DePaola Fields in Amherst.

Volunteering: The program is supported by parent volunteers. No experience is necessary — we welcome your help and provide simple guidance to get started. Parental involvement is a key part of making this program successful and fun for everyone.
